Single AI engine visibility scan
Pick one AI engine. I run your priority queries, capture citation share, and show you what the engine actually says about you.
What it actually is
You pick the engine: Google AI Overviews (the default for most clients), ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, or Gemini. RankLabs runs a focused query set (typically 25 to 50 priority queries you provide) and captures who got cited, what the engine said, and how your citation share compares against your top three named competitors.
The full Audit covers all five engines. The Quick Scan covers one because one engine is enough to tell you whether you have a visibility problem worth investigating. Agencies sell single-engine reports as if they were comprehensive. They're not. They're triage. Triage is exactly what the Quick Scan is for.
Deliverables
- Citation matrix for your priority queries on the chosen engine
- Verbatim text of how the engine describes you (and your competitors)
- Citation share comparison vs your top 3 named competitors
- Notes on which queries failed for content reasons vs schema reasons
- Recommendation on whether expanding to all 5 engines (full Audit) is warranted
What breaks without it
The single-engine scan answers one question cheaply: is there a visibility problem worth a deeper engagement? If you're cited well on the engine that matters most for your category, structural work probably isn't urgent. If you're not cited at all, the structural problem is almost certainly schema, and a full Audit will give you a complete picture across all five engines.
The most common Quick Scan finding: client expected to see partial citation share, found zero citations across the priority queries. That zero is the moment the engagement justifies itself. Without the scan they would have spent another quarter assuming AI search was fine.
How it fits the Quick Scan
The visibility scan and the template schema review are paired in the Quick Scan: one tells you what the schema looks like, the other tells you whether engines are responding to it. The written report sits across both. If you escalate to an Audit, this single-engine baseline expands to the five-engine baseline that anchors the broader engagement.

If your SEO retainer hasn’t compounded, your AI citations have stalled, or your last technical audit ended in a deck nobody read, that’s not a content problem. It’s an engineering problem. The same engineer who diagnoses ships the fix.
